Kurt Russell and Season Hubley play newlyweds Elvis and Priscilla Presley in the 1979 ABC television movie “Elvis.” The real couple were married in Las Vegas on May 1, 1967. Elvis, who was 32 at the time of the marriage, had met his 21-year-old bride when he was stationed in Germany in 1959 during Army service. The film does not go into Presley’s later years because, according to ABC Vice President Leonard Hill, the station “saw little reason to get into that sordid mess.”
